Data Science Extraordinaire
I graduated UC Irvine with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Psychology and Social Behavior. After working as a rebate analyst for a period of time,
I wanted to work on data in a detailed level and transitioned into data science.
Moving into data science, I found joy in machine learning, supervised and unsupervised learning techniques. My favorite machine learning technique is the do-it-all random forest technique.
However, not only am I well versed in these techniques, I have also learned a plethora of soft communication skills needed to convey my results to the public. I've learned with experience that sometimes,
pictures are worth more than a 1000 words and that's why I am proficient in exploratory data analysis too in order to communicate better with others.
I've been honing my SQL and Python knowledge in preparation for the data that I will interact with.
A must know in the data science field, let's talk about some algorithms like stochastic gradient descent.
Besides having an interest in modeling, I'm also interested in creating visuals so people have an easier time understanding what I want to say.
I don't just mean my proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin too! I'm dedicated to truly understanding one another after my past work experience.
